Ircal Oy is one of the few field-accredited companies in Finland specializing in temperature and pressure calibrations. They provide calibration and expert services, as well as maintenance for measuring instruments, both at their own facilities and through mobile laboratories at customer sites. Their services cover a wide range of industries, including electronics, food, metal, chemical, pharmaceutical, research institutions, testing laboratories, wood processing, and instrument import. Ircal Oy is accredited by FINAS (K052) for temperature and pressure calibration, with a broad accredited temperature range from -196°C to 1500°C.
During our time at Ircal, Mateo and Nick developed an application that connects to an API service to retrieve sensor data. This application enables Ircal to export lists and visualize sensor information more effectively for their customers. The project provided valuable experience in working with real-world data integration, user interface design, and understanding the needs of a technical service company. We also gained insight into the importance of precise calibration and the impact it has across various industries.
